COP25 between military and human rights violations?

Ecoceanos Centre with various organizations and academics, asked governments to suspend their participation in the COP25 while in Chile militaries continue on the streets and the maintain of human rights violations which contemplated deaths, torture, shooting, sexual abuse to women and gas to families.

The first alert on violation of human rights and COP25 was signaled by French Parliament, where Deputy Alexis Corbiere proposed to his colleagues to request President Emmanuel Macron, suspend the participation of France in this meeting that would take place in a few weeks in The South American country.

To this call have joined Chilean and Mapuche organizations, warning that the country is not in a position to carry out this event and demanding the immediate withdrawal of the Armed Forces from public life and the investigation of human rights violations.
